56+% California voters approved new data privacy standards in the state including:

  • 3x fines for companies that violate kids’ privacy
  • Create a dedicated state agency to enforce data privacy laws
  • Holds big business accountable
  • Closes loopholes that proponents say companies like Facebook, Google, Spotify and others have exploited
