Regulating professional advice from AI chatbot

We’ve talked about global jurisdictions limiting AI chatbot ability to give legal, financial, and medical advice. Pennsylvania is suing an AI chatbot that offered medical advice. Pennsylvania’s position is that the AI chatbot is violating “section 422.38 of the state’s Medical Practice Act, which states that it is “unlawful for any person to practice, or attempt to offer to practice, medicine and surgery” without having a valid license or registration.”
