Masks. Constitutional Rights?

What’s happening? We’ve reached the point in the pandemic when the lawyers start talking because of a declaration that there is a constitutional right to be free from a private business’ mask policy.

Why is this important? Not everything is a constitutional right. Feels silly to type, but a refresher on the Constitution might be in store.

How will this be important? This is very similar to news during the last week that the publisher of Dr. Seuss books is pulling several volumes and won’t print them. This business decision by a private business has been heralded by some as an assault on Dr. Seuss. It’s personal for them. Like the mask issue is personal even though private businesses can adopt a mandatory mask policy.
