Energy & Water
New Hampshire has approved plug-in solar with the Governor’s signing SB 540. The bill caps the plug-in solar at one unit per metered customer, with a maximum power output for each device of 1,200 watts, and the plug-in solar must comply with safety standards set by a national testing laboratory, such as UL Solutions.
Utilities cannot impose fees, impose use requirements nor approval for use, and interconnection agreements are prohibited.
