2019 State Funding for EV rebates distributed by Retail Electric Providers.

California has allocated more state funds for 2019 EV rebates that will be distirbuted by utilities.

Here’s how EV rebates work in California:

• customers will out an application
• backed with state funds distributed to utilities
  • SCE’s rebate has gone from $450 to $1,000
  • PG&E has upped theirs from $500 to $800
  • SDG&E’s program allows each owner to apply for the credit each year,
•  each utility has slightly different qualifications for who can apply
