  • Addresses Texas 70% population growth by 2070
  • Contains 5,500 strategies to conserve & create additional water sources
  • Significant Increase in Aquifer storage recovery
  • Significant increase in direct potable reuse
  • Capital Costs $62.6 billion
  • Water providers will need $36.1 billion in state assistance

The goal is to stave off drought, the economic impact of which would:

  • cost Texas 424,000 jobs
  • decrease Texas gross domestic product of $73 billion
