Anatomy of Governor Executive Order for 100% Clean Energy by 2050

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy  Executive Order 28  requires revision of the Energy Master Plan, including:

• 100% clean energy by 2050
• 30 days for the Energy Master Plan Committee to convene
• 7 State Agencies will be represented on the Energy Master Plan Committee
• Create a comprehensive blueprint
• Specific targets for the next 10 years
• Must include:
  • offshore wind development goals (Executive ORder #8 | NJ | 2018)

  • community solar projects
