Business response to development standards

Pennsylvania’s Governor last Wednesday unveiled 4 requirements for developments to gain state support. Where does the business community stand? 

The data center coalition did not approve. The coalition is saying things like strong concern, complicated, and significant challenges to development.

In contrast, Clean Power PA Coalition, a group made up of energy, environmental and business stakeholders, said the standards are “an important step toward ensuring data center growth in Pennsylvania happens responsibly.”
