Colorado’s SB18-230 (2018 | CO)  is awaiting signature by the Govenror.

The bill will:

• adds 60 day notification mineral owners whose oil and gas are developed without their consent
• add liability when oil and gas are developed without owner consent
• nonconsenting mineral owners are immune from liability for costs related to any spills, damage or injury from the drilling on the unit
