Oklahoma proposed data center moratorium

Oklahoma Legislature did not move  Senate Bill 1488 that included a 3 year moratorium on data center development while the state Corporation Commission studied the impact of data centers on electricity, water, and property values.

This bill is now an interim study for the House and Senate. The respective committees will also study how data centers communicate with state and local officials & how data center traffic impacts oil field traffic.
