Ranking electricity prices in the U.S.

A report by the American Legislative Exchange Council found North Dakotans paid an average of 7.93 cents per kilowatt hour for electricity in 2024. North Dakota’s power costs were the lowest in the U.S. and 42% below the national average cost.
