Reconciling clean air goals & data centers

Bloomberg & Tech Crunch report that Microsoft is internally struggling with their clean air goals and their data center growth. Microsoft has a 2030 goal of matching 100% of its hourly energy use with clean power on the same grid.

Hourly goals are more rigid than annual clean air goals which are more lenient.
