Space solar power

Remember last week when we talked about an SEC filing from SpaceX that said data centers in space were essentially unviable?  Well, counterpoint from Meta concerning a way to make space viable for data centers.

Meta reached an agreement with the startup Overview Energy for 1GW of power from a thousand satellites sending infrared light to solar farms that power data centers at night.
