Texas Water Regulation. Suggested Changes from Stakeholder.

The Nature Conservacy offers the following regulatory/legislative changes for Texas water policy:

• Diversify. Water impacts a lot and policies should also address or complement:
  • food and energy production
  • wildlife and habitat preservation
  • health of our bays and estuaries
  • overall well-being and prosperity of our communities
• More innovation to protect future water supplies
• More information about water.
  • ​more funding to update water models
  • community outreach for  groundwater and environmental flows
