+1 GOP State for $15 minimum wage

What is happening? First came Florida, and now add Missouri. Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) also shot support for a $15 minimum wage by setting state government pay at a $15 minimum.

Why is this important? Missouri needs to retain and recruit employees. When essential workers for the state make less than retail jobs, the state struggles to obtain workers.

How will this be important? It is happening on the local level too with Milwaukee, New Orleans and Tallahassee, Florida all increasing minimum wages to $15/hr
