2020 Effect. Cannabis Revenue Up.

What’s happening? Looking at Oregon’s cannabis revenue, the pandemic strengthened cannabis revenue. The state had predicted the revenue to decrease as more entertainment venues open, and the revenues have stayed strong even as the state re-opens. Totals for the 2019-2021 biennium are expected to be$304 million. Revenues are expected to reach $462 million in 2027-2029

Why is this important? The same effect is reflected in Illinois cannabis revenue.

How will this be important? Continued data can support long term stability of the revenue.
