3 reasons TX Attorney General State Offices will remain open

In a letter dated March 25, 2020 Texas Attorney General explains 3 reasons why Texas Governor Abbott’s Covid-19 Executive Order keeps state offices open:

• State offices or elected officials and regulatory agencies are critical infrastructure that shall remain open
• The Governor’s order preempts local action by any and all local officials
• Local governments cannot enact laws that are inconsistent with state laws
