  • cultivation tax of $9.25 per ounce for flowers and $2.75 per ounce for leaves sold in state-regulated retailers
  • Claims it will “reduce criminal justice costs by tens of millions of dollars annually.”
• Maine
  • 10% sales tax
  • Requires  municipal approval for vendors
• Massachusettes
  • state sales tax +  3.75% excise tax
• Nevada
  • 15% excise tax
