What’s happening? Florida Legislature, during a special session, was considering HB9A (2021 | FL). It didn’t go anywhere because the 2 chambers were at lagger heads.

Why is this important? The House added a provision that hasn’t been seen in any other state- it would require “fantasy sports teams to include at least seven players competing in at least five separate events” They also excluded college sports

How will this be important? 25ish states still have no laws on fantasy sports
