Anatomy of Governor Appointed Task Force on Pension Reform.

New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham created on Monday a 19-member PERA Solvency Task Force that will:

• include  pension officials, labor union heads, retiree representatives, & a bipartisan and equal number of legislative representatives
• make recommendations to close the $6 billion in unfunded liabilities by Aug. 30

Why the task force? a Pension reform bill that would have increased contributions from employees failed
