Ballot Initiative. College Sports Betting

What’s happening? New Jersey Voters voted down an expansion of sports betting in state college sports.

Why is this important? New Jersey will be the only state with legal sports wagering that does not allow bets on in-state college sports.

How will this be important? It is an interesting question for the other states that do not permit sports betting- is it ok for professional teams but not for colleges?
