Colorado’s New Delivery & Ride Share Tax

What is happening? This month welcomes Colorados new delivery and ride share tax.

Why is this important? The new tax will be:

• delivery orders through Amazon, UPS and DoorDash: 27 cents
• Uber and Lyft rides: 30 cents
• car-share rentals lasting at least 24 hours: $2

How will this be important? The fees will support support “transit expansions and help speed the sometimes-challenging transition to electric vehicles for all drivers”
