COVID Transparency Bill

What’s happening? Oregon is considering SB 719 (2021 | OR) that would set transparency requirements for state gathering COVID data.

Why is this important? Oregon’s current public information laws have an exception from disclosure for health investigations which has led to data being withheld.

How will this be important? Transparency of COVID data will only help the state with its message to vaccinate.
