Declining Tech Campaign Contributions

What is happening? 7 Republicans in Congress are openly declining campaign contributions from Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple and Twitter

Why is this important? Appears to be Phase 2 in the standoff between certain politicians and big tech. Phase 1 is the legislation that responds to big tech blocking users or content.

How will this be important? The wedge between these 2 sides appears to be increasing, more to come.
