Elected Official Transparency with Disappearing Text Messaging

What’s happening? The MD Governor and his executive staff have been using the App,  Wickr, to communicate. The App deletes messages instantaneously or based upon user settings.

Why is this important? The Governor and his staff have been accused of not being transparent by using s system that automatically deletes messages.

How will this be important? SB 307 (2022 | MD ) would re-define public information to include disappearing text messages.
