Extended Sales Tax Holiday to Jump Start Pandemic Economy

What’s happening? The Massachusetts Governor has proposed that the 2 day sales tax holiday to be extended to a 2 month sales tax holiday.

Why is this important? The extended sales tax holiday is aimed at jumpstarting the economy and providing help to small businesses and consumers.

How will this be important? The states revenue projections are 15% ahead, giving the state revenue reserves to afford the extended sales tax holiday.
