Colorado Legislature is considering legislation to change business organization requirements for the legalized marijuna industry, including:

• repeal background checks for passive investors 
• repeal 15 person limit on the number of out-of-state direct beneficial owners
• repeal prohibition on publicly traded corporations from holding a marijuana license
• creates 2 new licenses: (1) controlling beneficial owners (2) passive beneficial owners
