Legislative moves: Sports betting & credit cards

Ohio Casino Control Commission is using rulemaking to prohibit the use of credit cards in sports betting. Maine’s Governor signed a bill this spring that also prohibits credit cards in sports betting. Other states that have a similar ban: NH, MA, TN, IL, IA, OR, RI, VT.

Note to self: Some sports betting operators have stopped accepting credit cards as payment.
