Let’s look at Sin Taxes

What’s happening? Sn taxes are popular- taxing the drinkers, smokers, gamblers, soda drinkers- whatever society doesn’t think is ideal in a Victorian minute.

Why is this important? Results are varied. Prohibition says it’s not a great idea to flatly prohibit something. Heavy. taxes on tobacco did result in a tobacco use decline.

How will this be important? Accepting that the issue of taxing certain behaviors is it is a moral issue. Imagine if vegans controlled everything, they may want to tax all animal based products.
