NM $500 per adult

What is happening? States are deciding on their inflation payouts to residents. NM is settling in to $500 per resident and $1000 per household.

Why is this important? Gas prices are at record highs and inflation is at a high level. All the while, Republican opposition say that the payments will increase inflation in New Mexico.

How will this be important? 12 states are considering these payments. More will likely jump on board in 2023.
