Reducing Cannabis Production Taxes

What’s happening? San Diego is considering reducing cannabis production taxes from 8% to 2% to increase production of edibles.

Why is this important? The reduction in production tax is seen as a hurdle for small businesses to enter the market & address a gap in the local supply chain.

How will this be important? Ideally the increase in production will allow for more local product to be sold and reduce the trucking of supplies in San Diego.
