Stadium Building. No Public Funding. No Tax Incentives.

What is happening? Chicago bears want a new stadium in Arlington Heights. Residents of Arlington Heights approved the stadium, but rejected public funding & rejected tax incentives.

Why is this important? In the mix of this stadium campaign entered- Americans for Prosperity. Americans for Prosperity brought with them a  “anti-corporate welfare” petition  to halt financial incentives for new businesses moving to Arlington Heights.

How will this be important? The team can still seek bonds for renovations in the future.
