State Parks: A Positive Return on Investment

A Texas A&M study found that the economic activity generated from state parks is an estimated:

$774 million in sales;
$568 million in output;
$351 million value added;
$202 million impact on residents’ income; and
accounted for an estimated 5,871 jobs, paying an average salary of $34,000 per year.
