TX adds Financial Literacy to Collegiate Athlete Image Bill

What’s happening? States are passing bills that allow collegiate athletes to profit from their own image. Endorsement deals is the name of the game. SB 1385 (2021 | TX)

Why is important? The financial literacy workshop will be required in the 1st and 3rd year and prohibits marketing of financial products during the instruction.

How will this be important? We’ll see more of these bills add financial literacy requirements.
