Company Diversity 1974

What’s happening? IN 1974, Lego included a statement with its boxes that read “The urge to create is equally strong in all children. Boys and girls. It’s imagination that counts. Not skill. You build whatever comes into your head, the way you want it. A bed or a truck. A spaceship or a dollhouse. A lot of boys like dolls houses. They’r more human than spaceships. A lot of girls prefer space ships. They’re more exciting than dolls houses. The most important thing is to put the right material in their hands and let them create whatever appeals to them.”

Why is this important? it is as relevant today as it was in 1974.

How will this be important? How many new products have similar statements?
