What is happening? Land O’Lakes, the dairy company, supports free, public Wi-Fi at 3,000 locations in 49 states, and funded the American Connection Corps that works with communities to bridge the digital divide.

Why is this important? The wifi program began as a project during the pandemic to help rural people work from home.

How will this be important? Bringing wifi access to rural America took on new importance during the pandemic and with this program looks to be here to stay.
