data: more women out-earn their husbands

When I read this, I thought, oh data that’s actually sandwiching bad news in between good news. The good news: more women are outlearning their husbands. The bad news: woman still do more housework. The number of women who are the sole or primary breadwinner has tripled between 1972 and 2022, from 5% to 16%. The number of egalitarian households rose from 11% to 29% over the same time frame.
