Las Vegas Takes Sustainability Seriously

Leader in Water Conservation:

The Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace, and Venetianfountains save millions of gallons of water each year through sustainable water programs.

Renewable Energy:

MGM, Wynn, and Caesars have completely left the electric grid.

MGM operates the nation’s largest rooftop solar array and it is currently breaking ground on a solar farm to power 90% of the daytime energy for their 12 Strip resorts by the end of the year.

Food Waste:

To deal with the “all you can eat” buffet food waste, companies send hundreds of thousands of pounds of food scraps to local live stock farms.

CSR in 2018:

  • Casino employees volunteered more than 422,000 hours.
  • American Gaming Association companies gave $367 Million to charity.
