move over diversity & inclusion meet diversity and belonging

Words are important. Messaging is important. Diversity and Inclusion is being talked about as diversity and belonging. The goal is to remove the villain and/or victim mentality and create a place where people feel like they belong. The nonpartisan nonprofit Business for America surveyed CEOs and discovered that the way DEI programs were rolled out “exacerbated divides even while addressing valuable issues.”
