$250 million to Nuveen’s Core Impact Bond Strategy

$300 million to an impact fund from Avenue Capital Group

The state pension fund’s history on climate action

• considers itself a leader on climate action and has sought to take advantage of financial opportunities created by the transition to lower carbon
• made a climate action pledge in 2019
• plans to double its sustainable investments to $20 billion
