Organizational behaviorist: offices kill people

Jeffrey Pfeffer, a Stanford Organizational Behavior Professor, says no one cares that offices (workplaces) are not great, or in his words “are killing people.” He explains that offices are breeding grounds for stress, pressure, and depression.  He believes only force — regulation, litigation, and legislation — will compel organizations to create and maintain a healthy workplace. The kicker: he says no one cares. @stanfordgsb
