Republicans in Oklahoma are talking about rolling back their anti- ESG law which blacklisted financial firms for their restrictions on lending to oil, gas and coal companies. The reason: the increased costs for local governments to borrow funds. The Oklahoma Rural Association produced a study this week that says the added costs from the anti- ESG law are unavoidable for rural communities.
