Uber is utilizing partnerships to achieve sustainability goals. Specifically, Uber wants to be a net-zero brand by 2040. An example is its incentive program for drivers to purchase EVs, that includes a partnership with Octopus Energy and BYD that will co-fund a charging bundle for 1,000 Uber drivers. Uber has also announced partnerships with autonomous vehicle companies, Waymo in the US and Wave in the UK.
