Vetoes: Transgender Sports Bill

What’s happening? IN, UT and now KY Governors have vetoed their state’s transgender sports ban legislation.

Why is this important? In KY, the Republican legislature passed the bill and the Democrat Governor vetoed it because the bill does not treat all student athletes equally for equal protection purposes.

How will this be important? IN 2021, LA, ND and KS Governors also vetoed the legislation.
