What happens when restaurant was socially conscious & then COVID hit.

A restaurant in D.C., Mannan, began its story with the usual restaurant service, but at the same time, the owner provided meals to homeless.

When COVID closedowns began Mannan continued feeding homeless even as it saw revenue declines.

Facing closure- its customer base, because of Mannan’s strong community presence from providing food to those in needed, raised the capital for Mannan to continue.

Why is this important? Because when you leave your community with warm and fuzzy feelings about you, they remember your good deeds and offer you their good deeds.
