Women’s Clothing Brand to Lend Clothes for the Campaign Trail

“Ready to Run” Initiative

Only 27% of elected officials in the U.S. are women.

Through this corporate responsibility initiative M.M. LaFleur will lend clothes to women who run for office to support female candidates who lack the financial resources or time to build a wardrobe for the campaign trail.

Non-partisan

To clearly set their non-partisan intentions the brand is partnering with the non-partisan group, “She Should Run”, which has a goal of recruiting 250,000 women to run for office by 2030.

The response

Within 2 days of the Instagram announcement 550+ women responded.

The Washington Post | Dressing for the campaign trail can be tough for female candidates. M.M. LaFleur is lending free clothes to ease the burden.
