The live event will be televised and streamed globally on April 18, 2020. Featured artists include but are not limited to Lizzo, Lady Gaga, Eddie Vedder, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Wonder.

How will the event support the COVID response?

Pledges from supporters and corporate partners go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and local/regional charities that are providing food, shelter, and healthcare where it is most needed.

What does the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund do?

• track and understand the spread of the virus 
• ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information
• accelerate efforts to develop vaccines, tests, and treatments
