Where: Colorado, would be the 10th state to adopt  California’s ZEV policy

What will the Colorado ZEV mandate do?

• By 2023, 4.9% of new vehicles for sale must be battery-powered electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, fuel-cell vehicles, or others that produce zero emissions
• Targets increase until 2030
• Limited to light-duty cars and trucks
• Manufacturers can meet the standards by purchasing special ZEV credits

What does this mean for a gas powered vehicles? With the mandate 95% of an automaker’s cars for sale would still remain gasoline-powered

What agency is adopting the ZEV standards? Air Quality Control Commission
