Local TREND. Regulating dockless Bikes in the Sunshine State

Miami- Dade wants to take a shot at regulating dockless bikes with these standards:

• $100 fines for obstructing right of ways AKA no blocking sidewalks
• removal by the Department of Transportation and Public Works
• studies including:
  • whether to regulate the dockless bike industry
  • whether to create designated parking areas,

This comes 1 month after Miami City Attorney issued cease and desist letters for the dockless bikes.
