What does the model act cover?
- The intersection of state insurance regulation & peer to peer car sharing
- Requires coverage for the shared vehicle owner & the shared vehicle driver under a motor vehicle liability insurance policy
- Require a peer-to-peer car sharing program assume liability for bodily injury or property damage to third parties or uninsured and underinsured motorist or personal injury protection losses during the car sharing
